Dislikes: Being bothered, being woken up, the smell of smoke, everything else
Now, a lot of Disney Villains have a clear motivation, even if those motivations are sometimes up for debate. But there’s one villain who not only has probably the most ambiguous morals of all time, but it’s debatable whether or not he even counts as a villain - since he doesn’t have a single line of dialogue and even the characters don’t discuss his motivations at all! I am of course talking about this mofo: Monstro, from Pinocchio.
I mean, sure, he’s a WHALE. How many motives do you expect to have from a whale? He eats. He sleeps. He lies around not really giving a sh*t but gets pissed off if he’s bothered. Really pissed off.
I found myself wondering about what exactly makes him tick and realized something kind of hilarious. Monstro ACTS LIKE A FREAKING TEENAGER. He either gives no f*cks about anything or in a second switches to suddenly giving so many f*cks that he’s trying to rip your face off. That, and he eats whatever he wants. x’D
And that’s when I realized that there is no way I could pass up making human!Monstro a jerky college age kid even though he would probably be older than that because geez it fits too well and is hilarious...
So here he is with his 3 standard moods - sleeping, hungry and about to tear you a new one.
